Stephen holds the position of Technology Evangelist, APAC at Fastly. He evangelises the benefits of super fast and super low latency CDN, DDoS and WAF protection together with image optimisation, compute at the edge and a bunch of technologies which are changing the way the web works. He has held senior IT positions in the ISP, Publishing, and Finance industries such as Cisco Systems, Infoblox and MobileIron.

More than ever, companies need Fastly to enable them to innovate at the right place in the software stack to deliver globally performant, secure, and reliable applications to their customers. 

Stephen will share the story behind why Fastly was founded and our vision to help customers leverage edge cloud platform beyond the cloud and the data center.

From creating his own start-up in digital media to working with some of the largest brands in the region on their digital strategy, Vaughan will offer some tips and guiding principles that you may find valuable.

Vaughan currently serves as Fastly’s Area Vice President, ASEAN. Having supported hundreds of customers with building and securing their digital businesses in the region, he’s passionate about making the internet a better place, where all experiences are fast, safe and engaging.
